I try to race everyone clean! So if I accidentally bump into you, I'm either very loose, pushin in the turns, or was forced there. If you think I have a better setup than yours, let me know & I will share my setup with u, & I would appreciate the same in return. Afterall, it is just a game & there is no prize or money for 1st. Just bragging rights! Lol! I used to race in a couple of leagues in the summer of 2010, and even ran a CWTS league in the fall of 2010, and currently I'm in Quatros RCN League, which can be found on the Links page. My primary PSN name is Rockit442. I will be posting car setups in the forum section as I get time. Please be patient, I do have a fultime job during the week. If you have any requests for certain tracks, let me know & I will post them if I have them. There are a few tracks that I don't have yet, and need to test yet for NTG IL, The tracks I do have I'm trying to fine tune before I post them. The setups for Nascar 09 are different than those for NTG 2011, & NTG:IL is different than both of those, & don't work the same. So I've been having to start from scratch for the new game. These setups may or may not be faster than yours. This is just to get people who don't have good setups pointed in the right direction. If you have a better setup than I do, please feel free to join my site & post your setup on my site. The better the setups, the faster the times on track! Hey guys looking to race with some clean racers I'm not the best by no means but I do love rcn online and try to keep it clean unlike a lot of ppl I can admit when I make a mistake and try not too lol
I'm having trouble even keeping up with AI cars after like 4-5 laps on tracks like mich auto club Texas Kansas is thr anything that u cld recommend x2 tire wear usually 15-20% race need help thx for any that u provide.

I haven't made a setup yet for Homestead & was actually thinking of doing that track next. I think I've tried the Dover default there before and it worked ok, but not the best & will probably work off of that setup to start with & go from there. You'll have to let me know how that turns out. In the meantime, I think I'll get started on it myself this evening.

I know a lot of people just use your setups without thought. I personally like to do it on my own rather than copy setups. I have compared most of ours and they are very similar... of course differences due to driving styles. However, the one track I can not figure out is Homestead. My car is either too loose or too tight. I can not find a happy medium without sacrificing handling and speed through the corners. What setup do you use for this track? Any help would be much appreciated. -QTIP
Track: Auto club. Laps: 60 No assist
Best lap: 39.62 Setup: Rockit 442 This setup is amazing. There were 14 car racing and I finihed 3rd. Started 8. Had the fastest lap, led 19 laps, 3 pits only. The car awesome pal. I dominated the 1st half of the race. After lap 36 the car turned little tight in the middle to the corner Exiting turn 2 and 4 ( FR=red, I think is the suspension). And in lap 49 the motor and and the axis(front and rear) becomes to turn red (clear red). In general this setting is really good
Track: Atlanta Day. Laps: 32. Assist: Pro Best lap: 29.52 Setup. Rockit 442
Throughout the race the car in general had good handling. This setup worked great. I love to compete with no assist, but in this used pro assist. Turn 1, the entering were awesome, very well. Turn 2, a little loose exiting. Turn 3 little bit tight in the entry. Exiting Turn 4 were very good. In general the car was very good handling. I would like to help me improve this setup with these tips in mind that I race with no assist. I think that is the reason, when I race (no assist), after 15 laps the FR area (suspension, no tires) turns red and tha car becomes tighter and tighter

Ive been told that the nascar 09 servers wont shut down until the next licensed nascar game comes out.That game is NASCAR 2011 which comes out in febuary.so we have 5 more months of racing, melsey45 |
